Who we are

First Assist Business IT is a registered business name of Another Group Pty Ltd, ABN 56 122 720 601. We are based at 259 Wellington Street, South Launceston TAS 7249. In this policy, "we" and "us" means First Assist Business IT.

What we collect through this website

We collect information you choose to give us when you use a form on this website:

• Enquiry and contact forms. Your name, business name, email address, phone number and any message you write.
• Pricing calculator and proposal request. The details above, plus the choices you made in the calculator (number of computers, servers, Microsoft 365 users and locations, your chosen plan and the estimate shown). You can use the calculator and see an estimate without giving us any contact details.
• Free security assessment. Your answers to the assessment questions and the contact details you give us so we can send your results.

Please don't include passwords, payment card numbers or other sensitive details in a form or message.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote or proposal.
• To contact you about what you asked for, such as your estimate, your assessment results or a follow-up call.
• If you become a customer, to provide and manage our services and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We don't sell your personal information.

Who else handles it

We use a small number of services to run this website. They may process some information on our behalf:

• Formspree receives form submissions and passes them to us by email. Formspree is a US-based service, so your submission may be processed outside Australia.
• Cloudflare hosts this website and delivers its pages. Like most hosting providers, it processes technical information about visits, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site.
• Google Fonts supplies the typefaces used on this site. Your browser requests the fonts from Google, which means your IP address is shared with Google when a page loads.

We have not added analytics, advertising or tracking tools to this website.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond to you and, if you become a customer, to provide our services and meet our legal obligations. If you'd like us to delete your enquiry details, ask us and we'll do it unless we're required to keep them.

Keeping it secure

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including limiting who can access it. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, so if your enquiry is sensitive, call us instead.

Your choices and your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details below and we'll respond as soon as we reasonably can.

If you have a privacy concern, please contact us first so we can try to fix it. If you aren't satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
